REQUESTING:

Prescritions can be requested by:

  • Internet, fax, in writing or by post (with SAE if not collecting)
  • In person at Reception
  • However they Cannot be requested over the phone; this is to reduce errors

If you have difficulty in collecting your prescription from the Surgery THERE ARE OTHER WAYS:

You may request a named chemist collects your prescription from us and then you can pick up the medication from them.  You will need to ask for your prescription a few days earlier than usual if you use this method and you must make it clear which chemist you want your prescription to go to.

If you are unwell the Chemist may well deliver to you - please ask your chosen Chemist

This Service can be requested however you ask for your prescription but On-Line when you get to the::

'Collection Point'  - This is where you choose the chemist who will  collect and prepare your prescription for collection.    You DO need to request your prescription in plenty time to take advantage of  this.

If, however, the next time you request a prescription, you change your mind PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS FOR COLLECTION OF YOUR PRESCRIPTION!  We have had problems where people have changed their mind since their previous request but not told us and the prescription has gone astray.

If you would like a prescription posted to you, you can request this on line but must provide a stamped addressed envelope in the first instance. Thank you
