Practice Business Manager - Ms Christina Firmin manages the Practice to ensure the best and most efficient environment possible for patients and staff alike, whilst making sure that the business runs well and in accordance with business and Healthcare guidelines. She is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources etc. |

Assistant Practice Manager - Ms Claire Strong carries out administrative work within the practice, providing valuable support to the Practice Manager and assists in the day to day running of the practice. |
Administration
Mrs Vicki Stephens (f)
Vicki is our Insurance and Private work administrator. All Non-NHS work is administered by her. This work is carried out by the GPs after they have seen their patients and dealt with the paperwork associated with their appointments. This means that all private work, such as medical reports for insurance companies and letters to authorities can take a minimum of 10 days to process. Please also remember that the majority of non-NHS work attracts a charge, so please ask what the fee is when handing in non-NHS work. |

Docman and Workflow Lead - all letters and reports relating to patients' medical records are initially saved onto the patient's record and then actioned by Eve and workflowed to the patient's GP for further action and information. |
Mrs Caroline Fealey (f)
Gynae Clinic Medical Secretary & Clerk. Our Gynae medical secretary Caroline works 3 days a week, producing the letters, reports and referrals for the Tier 2 Gynae Clinic. She is responsible for arranging all the appointments for this Clinic. |

Tracie is part of the Administration team who provide a wide range of support services including patient registrations, referrals to hospitals and community services, health screening invitations, reports for outside agencies and generally assisting the Management Team with the running of the Practice. |

Our Reception Team provide the important first contact for our patients with any general enquiries. They can assist with appointments, standard test results and information on services. When you call for an appointment, the Reception Team will ask you for a brief description of your symptoms in order to be able to offer you the most appropriate appointment with one of the clinical team. |

Our medical secretary Mandy works Monday to Wednesday from 9am - 2pm. She produces the letters, reports and referrals for all the doctors, so if you have a query, please call during these hours. |

A new Clinical Pharmacist joined the Giffard Drive Surgery team in May 2020, working within the Practice 3 afternoons a week. The Clinical Pharmacist will be assisting the Practice with medication reviews and medication related enquiries, and will consult patients in the surgery and on the telephone. Clinical Pharmacists are highly qualified health professionals who train to become specialists in medicines. You will continue to receive your supply of medicines from the community pharmacy in the usual way. Sarah Sneath, who is employed by our local CCG in their Medicines Management Team, works with us to advise and support our doctors and nurses with their prescribing to maintain high standards. |

Mrs Sushila Magar (Social Prescriber) (f)
Sushila is our Social Prescriber who connects people with non-medical support, such as day centres, charities or community groups, in the community to improve their wellbeing and tackle social isolation. Social prescribers usually work in a GP surgery, health centre or community organisation. Our Social Prescriber works across all of the Farnborough GP Practices. Her role includes: - doing an assessment of what care and support people need, such as physical activities, learning new skills, making new friends or finding employment
- finding local support services such as community groups and charities for people to go to
- referring people who need care and support into a range of local activities
- reviewing the progress that people make.
